Army flood relief fund receives Rs417 million so far: DG ISPR

Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar said the nation is generously contributing to Army Flood Relief Fund to mitigate the suffering of the flood victims.

He was briefing the media on the Relief and Rescue Activities of the Pakistan Army in the flood affected areas in Islamabad.

The DG ISPR said 417 million rupees are collected in the fund, so far for the flood victims while forty-four million rupees were collected during the past 24 hours.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said there are 147 relief camps of Pakistan Army across the country in which relief is being provided to more than 50,000 victims.
