Srinagar, March 18, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has filed a petition before the human rights commission of the territory seeking dismissal of armed personnel involved in the killing of the Bandipora boy, Farhat Ahmad Dar, who was shot dead at Naidkhai on last Friday.
In his petition, Abdul Manan Bukhari, head of APHC legal cell, sought an order for directing the respondent number four (Commandant India Reserve Police (IRP) 18th Bn) to dismiss the IRP personnel from their services forthwith who were involved in the killing of the deceased, Farhat Ahmad Dar.
“That the order directing the respondent number three (Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir) be also passed wherein he be directed to issue directions to the respondent number five (S.H.O Police Station Hajin, Bandipora) to arrest the IRP Personnel involved in the commission of an offence of murder punishable under section 302 RPC after registration of an FIR in the said brutal killing of Farhat Ahmad Dar,” the petition read.
