APHC leaders want Kashmir prioritized in Pak-India talks

Srinagar, May 30, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leaders, Zafar Akbar Butt and Javed Ahmad Mir have called for inclusion of pro-freedom leadership into the Pak-India talks on Kashmir urging them to prioritize peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute for peace and stability in the South Asian region.

Addressing a gathering in Hyderpora area of Srinagar, the leaders welcomed the talks between the two neighbouring countries.

They, however, maintained that without prioritizing peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute, the talks would be an exercise in futility.

“Core issue between the two nuclear-armed countries is Kashmir and it is the main source of confrontation between the two south Asian countries and can trigger a nuclear war,” they said.
