APDP stages protest against enforced disappearances

Srinagar, July 10, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons held a sit-in protest at Pratap Park in Srinagar against the enforced disappearances by Indian forces. Scores of men and women associated with APDP were holding posters with photos of their near and dear ones, seeking the whereabouts of the disappeared persons. The association registers its protests on 10th of every month.

The family members of the disappeared person said that the authorities had failed to conduct an investigation in cases of enforced disappearances. Parveena Ahanger, founder and Chairperson of APDP, said, “The authorities have failed to give us justice and castigated.” She also hailed the UN report on Kashmir.
