Islamabad, September 10, 2013 (PPI-OT): In continuation to zero tolerance on Narcotics, ANF has recovered 27 Kgs of fine quality of Heroin from a Car at Mianwali. According to details, ANF Spot-check Team was deployed 25 KM away from Mianwali near Musa Khel, at Rakhi Mor on Talagang Road. Meanwhile, a Toyota Saloon car, register no LZK-169 came to the site.
Inspection team got suspicious on seeing the Gas Cylinder without CNG Kit in the car. Detailed inspection of the cylinder resulted in recovery of 27 Kgs of fine quality of Heroin, concealed inside CNG Gas Cylinder. Both persons namely Chand Babu S/O Mohammad Shafi resident of Ban Sair, Batgram and Fazal Hassan S/O Hazrat Hassan resident of Amman Kot, Mardan have been arrested.
Case has been registered at ANF Police Stations Mianwali and further investigations are under process. It is pertinent to mention here, that, Director General ANF has instructed to curb drug menace throughout the country. ANF is carrying out wide-ranging operations in different cities. Recent strike is continuation of ANF pledge to make Pakistan a Drug Free Society.
