American Biographical Institute selects Punjab University teacher for 2011 Award of Excellence

Lahore: American Biographical Institute (ABI) has selected the Punjab University Department of Applied Psychology faculty member Prof Dr Yasmin Nilofer Farooqi for its “2011 Award of Excellence” in recognition of admiration for outstanding professional dedication and practice in her field.

In a letter addressed to Dr Yasim Farooqi by the ABI President J.M.Evans it has been stated that “your demonstrated effectiveness and distinction in your profession are deserving of this honour. Your accomplishments through steadfast efforts personify the true meaning of excellence.”

The Institute is one of the globe’s leading international researchers that focuses on prominent men and women in many professional arenas. The 2011 Award of Excellence has been established to recognize those who have dedicated themselves to studies, research, discovery and efforts that have affected those around them, as well as society as a whole.

PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated Dr Yasmin Farooqi on her selection for the Award and said it was a big achievement. He said the award was a proof of your high-level academic and research pursuits and had helped earn fame for the varsity.
