Ambassadors designate calls on Prime Minister

Islamabad, January 28, 2013 (PPI-OT): Mr. A. B. K. Babar, Mr. Sajjad Kamran, Mr. Muhammad Saeed Khan, Mr. Riaz H. Bukhari and Syed Abrar Hussein, Ambassadors designate to Russia, Sweden, Maldives, Uzbekistan and Kuwait respectively, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the PM House today.

The Prime Minister expressed the hope that Ambassadors designate would devotedly work to take Pakistan’s relations with their accredited countries to new heights.

The Prime Minister said that ambassadors designate must focus on economic diplomacy in view of the significance of economic ties with the countries to which they have been accredited.

The Prime Minister urged the ambassadors designate to introduce the true image of Pakistan during their tenures in their accredited countries.

The Prime Minister wished them success and hoped that their stay would be beneficial and fruitful for promoting Pakistan’s interests abroad.

The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassadors designate on their posting and expressed the confidence that given their experience they would work to further expand Pakistan’s relations with these countries.
