Karachi, November 16, 2016 (PPI-OT): A delegation from Alamgir Welfare Trust International, during its visit to the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), sought KCCI’s assistance for promoting the noble causes being initiated by the Trust which were focused on serving the humanity in order to create a better society in which the poor masses in distresses could be provided a helping hand in difficult times.
President KCCI Shamim Ahmed Firpo, Senior Vice President KCCI Asif Nisar, Vice President KCCI Muhammad Younus Soomro and KCCI Managing Committee members were present at the meeting with the delegation from Alamgir Welfare Trust (AWT), led by its Chairman Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed, which also comprised Directors AWT Shakeel Ahmed, Rehan Yaseen, Nadeem Ahmed and others.
Highlighting Alamgir Welfare’s initiatives to serve the humanity, the delegation members informed that besides supporting different initiatives in health and education, Alamgir Trust was also actively engaged in providing other services including food, marriage assistance and emergency relief etc. along with rescue and funeral services to the masses.
They said that Alamgir Welfare Trust has been working with complete dedication and honesty since past many years to efficiently serve the humanity and has succeeded in becoming a trust worthy organization. They also invited BMG leadership and KCCI Office Bearers to visit the main office of Alamgir Welfare Trust so that they could personally review state-of-the-art infrastructure and other facilities being used to provide assistance to thousands of people who visit Alamgir Trust every day.
Speaking on the occasion, President KCCI Shamim Ahmed Firpo, while appreciating numerous initiatives taken by Alamgir Welfare Trust for the betterment of society, extended full support and cooperation of Karachi Chamber to noble causes being undertaken by the Trust from time to time. “It is heartening to note that Alamgir Welfare Trust has grown significantly from a tiny plant to a huge tree with uncountable branches”, he added.
He pointed out that the Karachi Chamber was not only working for resolving the issues being faced by Business and Industrial Community but its doors remain open to all the citizens in distress. “Anyone facing genuine issues is fully assisted regardless of considering whether the person seeking KCCI’s assistance is Karachi Chamber’s member or not”, he added.
