Srinagar, August 11, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, hundreds of people defying curfew and other restrictions offered congregational Zuhr prayers on roads in Budgam district. The prayers were led by senior leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi.
Soon after the afternoon prayers ended, people staged a sit-in while chanting pro-freedom and pro-Kashmir slogans. Police had blocked all roads leading to the residence of Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi to bar people from participating in protests.
The senior APHC leader, on the occasion warned India that unprecedented repression by its forces would have serious ramifications. He called for resolution of the Kashmir dispute without any further delay.
