Afghanistan National Football Team to play friendly match with Pakistan National Football Team on February 6

Lahore, February 04, 2015 (PPI-OT): Afghanistan National Football Team will play an International Friendly match with Pakistan National Football Team on Feb 6, 2015 at Punjab Stadium Lahore. To explain the salient features of the match to the media, a press conference was held at PFF secretariat, FIFA Football House Lahore today Wednesday, January 4, 2015. The press conference was addressed by Coaches and Captains of both teams.

Head Coach of Pakistan National Team Shamlan Almubarak:

While thanking the media for sparing time to attend the press conference said that this match is an opportunity for our players to prepare for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers and AFC championships Qualifiers. He further said Pakistan team is in good preparation. KaleemUllah, Muhammad Adil have not been released by their clubs but Hassan Bashir who also has been announced as the captain and Saddam Hussain will play the match. We will have home advantage he added.

Pakistan Captain Hasan Bashir:

“We will play good football. Although there is a lot of difference in the ranking of both countries but Pakistan Team has performed very good against strong teams in the recent past. We will put our full efforts to win the match.”

Afghan Coach Hossein Saleh:

He said that both teams are in good condition and we wish to bring smiles on the faces of People of both countries through the match. Wetther Pakistan wins or Afghanistan, we want to send a message of peace and friendship to the rest of the world through this match. We should also exchange the teams at youth level to further develop the game in both countries.

Afghan Captain Jalal Ud Din Sharityar:

I am very happy to be in Pakistan. This would be a tough match. We are not taking Pakistan easy opponent. Both countries will try to give their maximum and through this match both brotherly Nations will come even closer.
