Islamabad, June 02, 2017 (PPI-OT):The Accountability Court Rawalpindi decided Reference filed by NAB Rawalpindi. As per the Reference, the accused Ghulam Qadir Khan in year 2003 cheated the pilgrims who wanted to perform of Hajj by deceitfully collecting money from 105 Hujj on account of provision of accommodation and other facilities during Hajj at Makkah and Madina but did not provided any such services.
The learned Accountability Court Rawalpindi while announcing the judgment convicted and sentenced the accused Ghulam Qadir Khan 5 years R.I. with a fine of Rs. 2,300,000/. The properties of accused Ghulam Qadir Khan have been forfeited.
