Abbas receives letter from Chinese president on Palestine-China relations

Ramallah (IINA) � Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received Friday a message from Chinese President Xi Jinping about the distinctive bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them.

The letter was handed over to President Abbas by Chinese Ambassador to the State of Palestine Chen Hengcheong, during a meeting at the headquarters of the Palestinian presidency in Ramallah, in the presence of Secretary General of the Presidency Tayeb Abdel Rahim and Diplomatic Adviser to the President Dr. Majdi Al-Khalidi.

Abbas expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chinese president for his important message which aimed at promoting the bilateral relations between the two countries. He also commended China’s support for Palestine in all fields and emphasized the keenness of the Palestinian leadership to strengthen the deep historical relations between Palestine and China for the interest of the two friendly peoples.
