Aasiya deplores denial of entry to philanthropists

Srinagar, August 07, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, he Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Chairperson Aasiya Andrabi has appealed to the charity organizations to look for other options instead of waiting near the Line of Control (LoC) with supplies and medicines for the people of Kashmir.

Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that thousands of activists of charity organizations have been waiting along with a team of doctors, supplies and medicines near the LoC for the past many days. They are restlessly waiting to come into Kashmir to help us and cure our wounds. But the forces aren’t allowing them to meet their oppressed brethren in this part. We respect their concern for us but we have been caged and won’t be able to come to receive their supplies. So they should look for alternative ways to take the muzzled voice of their brethren to every home of Pakistan.”

She urged Pakistanis living in other countries to take all measures to highlight the aggression on Kashmiris. “They must make people aware in their respective countries about the oppression and brutalities unleashed by forces on innocent Kashmiris.”
