A five member delegation of Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Sindh calls on Chief Minister Sindh

Karachi, April 28, 2015 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has held a detailed meeting with five member delegation of Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Islam (F) Sindh which called on him in the leadership of Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, General Secretary and others included Moulana Sain Abdul Qayoom Halejivi, Naib Ameer JUI (F) Sindh Qari Muhammad Usman, Naib Ameer JUI (F) Sindh, Moulana Abdul Karim Abid, Chiarperson JUI Sindh, Muhammad Aslam Ghouri, Deputy Secretary General JUI Sindh, , at C.M House Karachi today. The Special Assistant to C.M Waqar Mehdi, Rashid Rabani, I.G Sindh Police Ghulam Hyder Jamali, were also present in the meeting.

Responding the problems presented by Moulana Rashid Mehmood, the Chief Minister Sindh directed I.G Sindh Police to arrest remaining one accused out of (6) involved in the murder of Shaheed Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro (Retired Senator) and also to provide Security to Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro.

The Chief Minister Sindh also constituted committees headed by Deputy Commissioner concerned district with representatives of religious parties to sort out the issues pertaining to JUI (F) upto District and Taluka level. The Chief Minister Sindh also announced for providing basic civic facilities at the Mazar of Shaheed Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro.

Talking in the meeting, Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, who was son of saline leader of J.U.I (F) Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro, pointed out some problems, mostly pertaining to the prosecution of the murder case of his father, arrest of the remaining one accused out of (6) involved in murder of his father and solving the problem related to Madarsa of his Jammat.

The General Secretary, JUI (F) Moulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro announced to cancel the protest rally which was scheduled to be taken from Sukkur to Karachi on May 1st and converted it into Jalsa for Tahfuz-e-Namoos-e-Risaalat and Tahfuz-e-Harmen Sharifeen at suitable place of Karachi which to be decided under the mutual understanding with local administration.

The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah which addressing the meeting eulogized the services of Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro and said that though his Martyrdom was high profile case but the Sindh Police detected it within shortest possible time and arrested (5) out of (6) accused in the case.

Which responding to the problems pertaining to Madarsa’s the Chief Minister Sindh said that this is the Federal subject and we even with the consent of all parties including J.U.I (F) have gave free hand to Sindh Police and Rangers to take action and close unregistered Madarsa. However, he assured the delegation that they will not be victimized as this targeted operation was being made across the board.

The Chief Minister Sindh constituted committees headed by Deputy Commissioner concerned with representatives of religious parties to ascertain the complaints and get these resolved on merit but not to effect on the targeted operation. The delegation also appreciated the targeted operation and its achievements and assured their full support to make it more success.

The both leaders also exchange their views on the political issues and agreed upon continuing their contacts for making alliance in the forthcoming local government election. The Chief Minister Sind nominated Mr. Waqar Mehdi, Special Assistant and Mr. Rashid Rabbani to coordinate with J.U.I (F) in this regard.
