Srinagar, June 21, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have disclosed that 545 industrial units have been established by outsiders in the territory. The revelation was made in a written reply by the authorities to a query in the so-called Kashmir Assembly.
Giving break-up, the puppet minister for industries and commerce said that 498 units had been set up by outsiders in Jammu region and 47 in the Kashmir Valley.
The puppet regime said that various incentives were being provided by the Indian government and the local authorities to promote the setting up of industrial units as per the so-called Industrial Policy 2016.
Under the so-called Industrial Policy non-state subjects can get land in the occupied territory on lease for up to thirty years which could be extended to ninety years. Hurriyet leaders have termed the Industrial Policy as manifestation of a new East India Company.
