12 outlaws arrested red-handed; hashish and pistols recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws including a notorious car thief and car receiver from various areas of the city and recovered a car, a motorbike, three pistols and hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said.

Sub-Inspector Anar from Sihala police station arrested a car thief and car receiver Murad Ali from T- Cross Rawat when he was trying to speed away in a vehicle (RIS-2988) stolen from Pir Wadhai on October 1, 2011 into adjacent district along with his other accomplices.

Police team headed by SI Anar stopped occupants of vehicle for checking at police picket and they tried to flee. One of them later identified as Murad Ali s/o Mohsin Ullah district Swabi was overpowered while two other Asif Khan and Ghulam Muhammad managed to escape. Police recovered two CNICs and a driving license from this car thief with different names but same photos.

Further investigation is underway from him and another police team has been constituted to arrest his other accomplices. Nabbed Murad Ali had faced imprisonment for five years and were challaned in 11 various cases including car theft in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Station House Officer of Margallah Police station Irshad Ali Abro and ASI Riaz Hussain nabbed an auto-thief Nisar Ahmed red handed and recovered a motorbike LEP-3265 from his possession. He confessed during initial investigation that he took away this motorcycle from sector G-9.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Tehseen from CIA Police nabbed a dacoit identified as Umer Farooq and recovered one Kalashnikov and ten rounds from him while Sabzi Mandi police arrested Amjad Ali and Khalil ur Rehman for having one 44 bore rifle 510 gram hashish respectively.

Golra police arrested Fazal ur Rehman and Muhammad Ali for having two pistols while Industrial areas police apprehended Murad Ali for filling LPG cylinder illegally.
Margallah police arrested Javed, Wali, Shahida Perveen and Mehwish from sector F-8/3 for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.

IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik have appreciated this performance and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the cops who arrested these culprits especially car thief.
