Summer Camp students’ ceremony hosts by Speaker Punjab Assembly for Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Lahore, July 28, 2017 (PPI-OT): Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and industry with the collaboration of China Overseas Exchange Association and Punjab Higher Education Commission succeeded for arranging an exclusive summer camp for ethnic Chinese and Pakistani students at Huawen College Qingdao starting from 28th July till 11th August, 2017.

For Appreciating this big achievement of PCJCCI, Honourable speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal hosted a Ceremony at Faletti’s Hotel to see off the campers with good wishes and greetings. The Respectable Deputy Consul General of China, Mr. Wang Daxue appeared as Chief Guest of the ceremony while other dignitaries included; President PCJCCI Mr. Wang Zihai, Vice President, Moazzam Ghurki, Mr. Fa and Mr. Wang Lixue.

Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal presided the ceremony. While delivering address of welcome, he expressed gratitude to the Deputy Consul General for being part of the event. The participation of the respectable Deputy Consul general will definitely encourage the campers and disseminate a harmonious message for the Pakistani and Chinese brethren, he said and appreciated the endeavours of PCJCCI President Mr. Wang Zihai on this remarkable achievement. Rana Muhammad Iqbal wished good luck to the campers and believed that students will get an opportunity to learn and enjoy a lot in the China. Such cultural exchanges and tours will further solidify the spirit of Pak China friendship, added Rana Muhammad.

Deputy Consul General, Mr. Wang Daxue, in his address, congratulated PCJCCI, Punjab higher education commission (PHEC) and the China Overseas exchange association (COEA) for accomplishing this summer camp student delegation from Pakistan to China. “I am inspired by the enthusiasm of PCJCCI officials regarding the execution of such enthusiastic projects”, he said and hoped that both Pakistanis and Chinese students will equally be benefited by such exchanges. He acknowledged that PCJCCI was working hard to cement Pak China relations He urged that the organizations like PCJCCI must get full support and encouragement from the government of Pakistan in order to make them work more diligently in the execution of ideas.

President PCJCCI Mr. Wang Zihai, in his address, gave briefing about the purpose of summer camp. He informed that the summer camp is basically planned with an embedded cultural spirit. This camp features distinctive culture of Shandong and Qingdao that are the two culturally enriched provinces of China, told Mr. Wang Zihai.

In this summer camp we have, arranged various courses like cultural lectures, Chinese for Fun, Beijing Opera facial masks, paper-cut, clay sculpture, Round Fan Painting, Rubik’s cube skills and dancing, which demonstrates China’s prosperity and development, and let campers find and enjoy the beauty of China’s traditional culture, as well as improving their interests in Chinese study in the process of life experience, he said and expressed pleasure over proactive role of PCJCCI in bringing China and Pakistan closer in all walks of life.

He said, “I am feeling proud to confidently declare PCJCCI as an all-rounder where we are not merely focused on Pak China trade but also concentrating on the language, Culture, socioeconomic norms and social needs of both the countries. He advised the teenagers of Pakistan and China to lay down a strong foundation for brighter future of friendship between the two countries through summer camp activities.
