Lahore, July 30, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 267500 cusecs and Outflows 241000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 45200 cusecs and Outflows 45200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 36000 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 93300 cusecs and Outflows 60700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 271400 cusecs and Outflows 263400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 284100 cusecs and Outflows 300000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 274700 cusecs and Outflows 252400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 32500 cusecs and Outflows 18000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 241200 cusecs and Outflows 211400 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 188100 cusecs and Outflows 135400 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 95500 cusecs and Outflows 61800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1530.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.054 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1224.35 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.052 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.220 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
