Lahore, July 27, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 246600 cusecs and Outflows 220100 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 44400 cusecs and Outflows 44400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 32300 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 88800 cusecs and Outflows 56100 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 282600 cusecs and Outflows 274600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 290700 cusecs and Outflows 284300 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 266900 cusecs and Outflows 244900 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 45600 cusecs and Outflows 31300 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 227900 cusecs and Outflows 205200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 200100 cusecs and Outflows 150500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 91600 cusecs and Outflows 57200.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1527.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.897 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1222.15 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.889 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 648.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.264 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
