Lahore, July 25, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 253200 cusecs and Outflows 226400 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 46900 cusecs and Outflows 46900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 32300 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 93400 cusecs and Outflows 60700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 283300 cusecs and Outflows 275500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 293600 cusecs and Outflows 282200 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 230900 cusecs and Outflows 209100 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 69500 cusecs and Outflows 55500 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 244700 cusecs and Outflows 214900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 167300 cusecs and Outflows 122900 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 75800 cusecs and Outflows 43300.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1525.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.792 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1220.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.801 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 648.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.264 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
