Lahore, July 20, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 270800 cusecs and Outflows 203700 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 51800 cusecs and Outflows 51800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 34600 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 108700 cusecs and Outflows 79000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 276300 cusecs and Outflows 268500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 286500 cusecs and Outflows 276700 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 207900 cusecs and Outflows 186700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 42900 cusecs and Outflows 31200 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 190400 cusecs and Outflows 173100 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 146900 cusecs and Outflows 102000 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 65100 cusecs and Outflows 50600.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1520.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.529 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1217.60 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.564 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.109 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
