Lahore, July 19, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 293800 cusecs and Outflows 217300 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 56800 cusecs and Outflows 56800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43400 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 139700 cusecs and Outflows 111200 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 255100 cusecs and Outflows 247300 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 252000 cusecs and Outflows 250000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 208600 cusecs and Outflows 188100 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 39300 cusecs and Outflows 28500 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 184700 cusecs and Outflows 166600 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 137400 cusecs and Outflows 88900 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 64800 cusecs and Outflows 40800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1517.37 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.396 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1216.90 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.515 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.102 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
