Lahore, July 16, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 256700 cusecs and Outflows 146000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 58600 cusecs and Outflows 58600 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43400 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 98400 cusecs and Outflows 65300 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 201700 cusecs and Outflows 193900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 216100 cusecs and Outflows 245000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 225200 cusecs and Outflows 201500 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 17600 cusecs and Outflows 2070 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 183100 cusecs and Outflows 146300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 128100 cusecs and Outflows 75500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 54600 cusecs and Outflows 24100.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1507.10 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.884 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1213.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.309 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.130 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
