Lahore, July 06, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 203600 cusecs and Outflows 180000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 43900 cusecs and Outflows 43900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43000 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 78900 cusecs and Outflows 43600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 209500 cusecs and Outflows 201500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 211400 cusecs and Outflows 225000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 190500 cusecs and Outflows 170300 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 38000 cusecs and Outflows 22400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 169000 cusecs and Outflows 127900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100800 cusecs and Outflows 48700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 62700 cusecs and Outflows 22400.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1478.45 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.579 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1203.75 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.624 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 642.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.085 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
