Lahore, July 04, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 201800 cusecs and Outflows 155000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 46400 cusecs and Outflows 46400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 41100 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 84200 cusecs and Outflows 49000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 186600 cusecs and Outflows 178800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 193300 cusecs and Outflows 205000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 202400 cusecs and Outflows 178400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 23100 cusecs and Outflows 7660 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 170800 cusecs and Outflows 129600 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 114200 cusecs and Outflows 61700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 64600 cusecs and Outflows 24100.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1475.76 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.465 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1201.65 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.488 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 645.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.151 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
