Karachi, July 11, 2017 (PPI-OT):Sindh Labour, Human Resources Development, Transport, Mass Transit and Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the PPP is always talking about the less privileged segment and labourers for ameliorate their living standard through taking practical measures for their further development. This he said while addressing Eid Millan Party and Inauguration of People’s Unity Union Office in Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) here today.
The Minister Labour has said that minimum wages in SBCA is giving Rs.4500 would be given Rs.15000 as per government policy and law. The Minister said that SBCA workers grievances would be resolved on priority, their rights would be protected through legal means. The Minister further said that our leadership from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asif Ali Zardari, CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nisar Khoro, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other also committed to protect the workers rights and facilitated them.
Injustice would not be made to all specially workers community, in this regard negligent officials would not be spared at any cost. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that daily wages worker would be given their due status of regularization as did in other organization while removed workers if any would also get their employments after completing legal formalities.
Renowned labour leader and head of Peoples Labour Bureau Habibuddin Junaidi speaking, has said that PPP is workers and labourers friendly party, if we united no one could break us. SBCA union through discipline and unity, would get its due role in SBCA. Karachi is the industrial hub and soft face of the country but we should the analysing Sindh and its politics, people are re thinking, their minds has been chanced.
Karachi was strong hold of PPP in 1970 but time and again mafias emerged in politics but now again Karachi would be city of peace and PPP would gets its glory and will end the politics of guns and bullets, peace will be prevailed. Labourers and Workers are not weak, we want clean drinking water, transport, housing and other basic need now we are not taking spending our lives with poverty and hunger through our strength and unity we would get all basic amenities and rights, he concluded.
Farid Ansari, Sohail Abidi, Sardar Ahmed Khan and Chairman SBCA Peoples Unity Hussain Ibrahim Kaka and others are also spoke. President SESSI Labour Union Malak Naveed and SESSI and Water Board Workers attended the event. Later the Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah formally inaugurated the Peoples Unity Union Office in SBCA and prayed for the welfare and well being of the workers and hope that they would get their rights protectively and in justice would not be made with them by any body, he added.
